Spawn of Helen

Ladies, gentlemen, etc...please welcome Mr. Grady Damnation:

DOB: 5/1/07
Star Sign: Taurus
Height: 6.5 inches
Weight: 1.75 pounds

Any doubt that he was destined to be mine was quashed the moment he burped aloud and then sat looking proud of himself.

Clearly, the answer to all of the world's problems = kittens.
Or all of my problems, anyway. There's no way to be pissy when a seven-week old kitten is lying on his back purring while you rub his belly. No fucking way.

Very special thanks to Ms. R. Franklin, who rescued Grady's beautiful momma from the street right before she gave birth to him, and who took the above photo. Ms. Franklin is working diligently to find homes for the momma and two more kittens...please email me if you're interested in adopting and think you can pass the rigorous screening process.

Many, many more photos and annoying crazy cat lady stories to come. Lucky you.

Isn't he the CUTEST!!! You are so lucky that he picked you to take care of him.You do know that's how it's done, right? My partner and I have 4, 2 sisters we adopted from the SPCA, and to strays that we rescued from our backyard. We would take them ALL in if we could.

Why yes darling, he IS the cutest! Thank you for noticing.

I really am tremendously lucky. (My big cat disagrees at the moment, but she'll come around.) And believe me, if I had a bigger apartment, I woulda come home with two kittens and the momma cat today.

Sounds like you kids are lucky too. I love hearing cool adoption stories. Yay!

At the risk of being accused of being overly sappy I have to seriously say--he is just sooooo cute.

He's so cute I want to squeeze his head off! Seriously, Alice got to me by being an adorable little ball of black fur and climbing up my arm onto my head and then sitting on top of my head purring. (that should have warned about how this was all going to turn out) She'll get used to him, just give her lots of attention. It would be a different story if you had got another female. They get very territorial.

Good luck with the little monster! OMG! I just realized, you have 2 pussies now! You are impressive.

Yay for kittens!

When my last cat died, I wanted a companion for the cat that remained, and brought home a female grey tabby named Shamrock ... DIVA!!!

They still don't really get along, but their lives are more interesting than they would be if they were home alone all day, so ... mission accomplished, sorta.
