Bloggers are forever

I've always liked the word "hiatus." I'm pretty sure it's because it's another one of those words that kinds sounds dirty somehow, even though it isn't.

That said, the Ninth Circle is officially on hiatus as of today. On Thursday, I fly to Utah for spinal surgery. Woot? Unless the (hopefully awesome) drugs I get afterwards inspire me to regale you with my typically fantastic insights, I doubt I'll be doing much except sleeping, drooling, and torturing my parents for awhile.

Until I return, please enjoy these unspeakably adorable photos of The Gradyface, because he'll look totally different by the time you or I see him again.

Take care kids! Seeya when I seeya...

Take care of yourself Helen. Have a speedy recovery and hope you manage to flash at least a couple of people in your hospital gown.

I hope this isn't one of those cases where it's bad luck to say good luck, because ... well ... "Good luck." I'll be checking this space for progress reports and the grand triumphant return.

Oh NOES! So cute. You would be wise to keep me away for this kitten, for I may have to EAT HIM.

Best of luck, doll. Take deep breaths (and lots of drugs) on the plane, and hang in there. Actually, that's probably a good approach for the whole ordeal. Or maybe your entire life.

We'll be thinking of you!

That bookshelf picture is priceless.

I hope the surgery goes well. You'll be back to doing front handsprings across the living room in no time.

Helen,

Love the pics of Gradyface. Especially the radiator shot.

I hope that the surgery goes extremely well, and that you are healed soon. Physical therapy too, I imagine. Hope your therapist is hotter than the last one, and believes that client orgasms are a must for proper healing.

All my love, and healing thoughts!

Take care and have a safe and easy surgery. Remind the doctors that your spine doesn't need to just be better, but it has to be dancing better.

I am thinking about you!

I'll be thinking about you doll. Grady is so cute I may go into insulin shock. Hopefully exposure to the parental units will expedite the whole healing process and you will be regaling us with tales of Utah, hospitals et al.

Best luck and we will await your return with bated anticipation.

I just discovered your blog via Joe.My.God
I hope the operation is a success so I can continue reading your blog. Selfish, yes I know, but I see it as win win.
All the Best wishes!

Well, at least the drugs will make the Mormons tolerable. And, with back surgery you won't have to wear the magical temple garments. Then again if you had been....

Good luck girl, you'll be missed!

Helen, I'm sure you'll be find, just watch out for those damn blood clots, and read everything you can about possible signs. Or maybe that doesn't happen with spinal surgery. Thanks for asking about my sweetie. My hiatus ( yeah it doesn't sound kind of dirty ) is over unless I end up in the loony bin again.
Big Hug.
